Amscreen M2M have announced a new contract win with Coffee Nation, the UK’s leading provider of premium quality, self service coffee using wireless M2M technology fitted to the firm’s 800 self-service units nationwide. See press release.

This enables Coffee Nation to monitor its coffee machines, which are installed in office, travel and retail environments nationwide. Since Coffee Nation own the machines but depend on retailers for stocking and cleaning, they required a solution that monitors the machines in a timely, efficient and non-intrusive manner.

Amscreen M2M’s coffee machine monitoring solution scrutinises both stock and cleaning levels of the machines as well as sales data so that retailers can be invoiced accurately. The data is be fedback to Coffee Nation’s central management system enabling the firm to make instant decisions regarding maintenance, inventory and systems management.
